The AGM for the chapter of DOC Alberta will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6:30 to 7:00 PM in the Exhibition Suite at FAVA located at 9722-102 St, 2nd floor. Only members in good standing can vote. Following the AGM, DOC Alberta will host a wine and cheese party/networking event that is open to the public.

Sandra Tober
Sandra Tober is an award-winning filmmaker with over 13 years experience as a writer, director, producer, and business affairs director. After working with Karvonen Films for many years, she is now with Clearwater Documentary.
Patrick Bensen
Patrick Bensen completed a 4 year engineering program in broadcast journalism from Radio France - Institute Nationale Audio-Visuel (INA) and has been working for 13 years as a broadcast engineer for BBC, MTV Europe, Radio France, APTN, CBC and NRK. He was a film Producer for Eurosport, ESPN, and the Banff Film Festival. He produced the weekly CBC segment “Meetings with Patrick Bensen.” He is currently an independent filmmaker and Production Co-ordinator at FAVA.

Jaimie ClementsThe daughter of a high school teacher and an entrepreneur, Jaimie Clements was born in the small town of Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. Jaimie earned her drama diploma from the Visual and Performing Arts program at Keyano College in Fort McMurray. Now residing in Edmonton, Jaimie has continued her acting career through film and tv. In addition to acting, Jaimie has also taken her turn behind the camera. She has written and directed two short films screened at the Metro Cinema in Edmonton. She also has directed three music videos for the local band, Where's Lula. Jaimie enjoys both sides of the camera and is currently producing and directing the independent documentary, 'The Avenue'.

Rob was called to the Bar of Alberta in 1989 and relocated to Vancouver in 1995 where he spent 10 years working behind and in front of the camera. He returned to Edmonton in 2005 and resumed practice, currently practicing with the Galbraith Law. He’s a past member of the Directors Guild of Canada and remains a current member of ACTRA. While in Vancouver he spent 3 years on the Board of Trustees for the Members Benefits Trust which administers health and welfare benefits for approximately half of the performers union.
