Due to a lack of insurance coverage related to COVID-19, many Canadian productions are currently at risk of being postponed to next year or abandoned altogether. For these reasons, DOC strongly supports the immediate creation of a government-backed emergency temporary fund to indemnify Canadian productions for costs related to COVID-19 interruptions.
