Three Tips to Maximize the Calendar's Functionality

Toggle the Calendar’s Visibility

If the Filmmaker’s Calendar is making it difficult to view the events on your personal calendar, you can toggle its visibility via the “Other calendars” menu, situated in the sidebar to the left of the main calendar pane. Clicking the “DOC Festival Concierge Filmmaker’s Calendar” will render its event information invisible. A second click will restore it to view.

Tip 1. Toggle your Calendar's Visibility

Personalize Your Notifications

If you want to ensure you never miss another deadline, you can elect to receive email or pop-up notifications for all calendar events by clicking on the arrow next to “DOC Festival Concierge Filmmaker’s Calendar” and then choosing to “Edit notifications.” However, if you would rather only receive notifications for specific deadlines, you can adjust the notification settings on an individual basis by clicking an event’s “Edit event” option.

Tip 2: Personalize Your Notifications

Use Search to View Deadlines at a Glance

Typing “Deadline” into the search box at the top of the calendar interface will generate a chronological list of all the festival submissions and funding application deadlines for the coming weeks. This function is particularly useful if you’re looking for a quick way to access the event notification settings for specific deadlines, as discussed in the previous tip.

Tip 3: Use Search to View Deadlines at a Glance
