DOC began in 1983 as the Canadian Independent Film Caucus (CIFC) to represent the interests of Canada's growing community of indi doc filmmakers. Register for DOC’s Virtual Town Hall onShaping the Future of Hot Docs

DOC is inviting members to participate in a 90-minute virtual Town Hall event on Tuesday, January 13 at 3:00pm ET / 12:00pm PT.

As Hot Docs continues to rebuild following recent challenges, DOC is supporting the establishment of an all-new Hot Docs Board of Directors, who will work to shape the future of Canada’s largest documentary festival and market.

DOC is currently seeking candidates to join the Hot Docs Board, and this Town Hall will provide updates on the relationship between DOC and Hot Docs, outlining how the two organizations are collaborating to ensure that Canada’s independent documentary community has a meaningful stake in charting Hot Docs’ new path.

This conversation is open to all members and there will be significant time allotted for your questions and input.
