Natasha Negrea

Head of Programming

Natasha Negrea is Head of Programming with TVO where she is responsible for the overall direction and evolution documentaries and children’s programming. This includes oversight of TVO’s slate of award-winning commissions and acquisitions and building the strategy for scheduling and distribution on broadcast, OTT and digital platforms. Natasha has had a robust career in screen content including serving as a Development Executive the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and as a Producer with Blue Ant Media. She previously led programming at Women and Film and Television Toronto (WIFT).

Alexandra Roberts

Commissioning Editor, Documentaries Programming and Content

Alexandra Roberts is the Commissioning Editor of Documentaries at TVO, where she oversees all of the broadcaster’s original commissions, acquisitions, and pre-buys. Her work has aired internationally on several networks, including HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, CBC, ARTE, NHK, Discovery and Al Jazeera English. She recently served on the production team for the second season of 'Children Ruin Everything' for Roku and CTV. Her first scripted feature ‘Soft’, premiered at TIFF 2022 and toured across Canada, where it won Best of Fest at Chilliwack International Film Festival. It will make its international premiere and be released theatrically by LevelFILM in 2023. For her work on ‘Soft’, she was a 2022 nominee of the CMPA Indiescreen Producer Awards.She holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School, a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, and is an alumna of the Producer’s Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.
